First ensure that you have installed AuditSoft (Click here for details)

Next it could be that the .asa file extension is associated with another application. The result is that if you double-click on a file it tries to open the file in a browser or another application. To fix this you have to ensure that the .asa extension is associated with the AuditSoft application.

Change or check your file association by doing the following:

  1. Click on the Windows button and go to Settings
  2. Select Apps
  3. Then select Default apps
  4. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select Choose default apps by file type
  5. Scroll down to the .asa file type
  6. Click on the icon to the right and select the AuditSoft application icon (if the icon does not show in the Choose an app list then you do not have AuditSoft installed)
